Mr. Onorius John Njole, currently aged 48 years old is the Chief Parliamentary Draftsman of the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania. He was admitted to the Bar as an Advocate of the High Court and Subordinate Courts save for Primary Courts in 2012. Mr. Njole holds a Master Degree of Laws (LLM) from the University of Dar es Salaam specializing in Constitutional Law and Law Making Process. Further to that, Mr. Njole is a professional Legislative and Legal Drafter possessing a Postgraduate Diploma in Legislative Drafting from Zambia Institute of Advanced Legal Education (ZIALE). He is a graduate of a Bachelor Degree in Law (LLB) from the University of Dar es Salaam. Mr. Njole is a Certified Board Director registered by the Institute of Directors of Tanzania (IoDT). He is also Chartered Pension Analyst Manager (CPAM) certified by the Global Academy of Finance and Management. Mr. Njole has also been certified by the Institute of Directors of Tanzania (IoDT) as Board Secretary. Prior to the appointment to the Office of Chief Parliamentary Draftsman, Mr. Njole worked with Social Security Regulatory Authority (SSRA) as Director of Legal Services for which he served for three years before being appointed to act the position of Director General of SSRA the position which he served from December, 2018 to May, 2019 when he was appointed to the current Office. Before joining SSRA, Mr. Njole worked with the Office of the Attorney General where he served to the level of Principal Parliamentary Draftsman. He joined the Office the Attorney General in May, 2004. In 2011, Mr. Njole was seconded to the Constitutional Review Commission to form part of the Team of Constitution Drafting Experts. Mr. Njole sits on various Boards including the Board of Directors of TTCL, the Board of Trustees of Muhimbili National Hospital and the Board of Trustee of the Workers Compensation Fund, to mention a few.
